  college football poll - week 1

  We’re back for the 2023 “coefficient of relationship” college football rankings!

  It’s early enough in the season that things are pretty much meaningless. USC is the only team with two FBS wins (San Jose State and Nevada), and so they’re #1. Auburn and SMU both have wins over teams that won in week 0 (Auburn beat UMass who beat New Mexico State, and SMU beat Louisiana Tech who beat Florida International). And then we have a gajillion-way tie for 4th among everyone else who’s won so far.
