Saw Planet of the Apes tonight. Pretty pimp remake. Didn’t come close to the original of course. But I liked it. You know the weird part about it? That overplayed line in all the previews that has General Thade saying, “Get the Spaceman!” I don’t recall actually hearing it in the movie! I’m probably just dumb though.

Well, since A Brave New World has been completed, I must move on to another tale. I chose the Half Priced Book Store on Lane Avenue as my starting point. In the fifty cent clearance rack, I saw the first two installments of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation trilogy. The cover proclaims the trilogy as the Hugo Award winner for best all time science fiction/fantasy series. Yes, that means it beat out Lord of the Rings. Undoubtedly, my expectations are high.

Ok, so I’m painting in the 90 degree heat today. I’m painting a fence. Do you know what this fence surrounds? A pool! Those things that are filled with water. Those things that make summer so fun. Those things that make you want to do a cannonball and splash around and pretend like you’re 10 years old again. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. And guess what? We didn’t finish the fence! So that means more temptation tomorrow!!!! Whoooo!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe I have thoroughly disgusted anyone who might have visited my site seeing as Eric and I are the only souls brave enough to take the plunge and add our votes to the poll. That or the rest of you are using Netscape 4 and the CSS isn’t getting rendered correctly. Either way, all I know is that I’m really tired caused I painted for 11 hours today. Yes, eleven hours of painting on a Saturday. I’m a masochist. Since I painted so long, more than one song was stuck in my head. Unfortunately, one of these was Limp Bizkit again. Goddamnit. Fred Durst needs to rot in H-E-double-hockey-sticks for getting that doggone crap stuck in my noggin. Among the other songs were some Metallica, Mousse T., Beatles, and one of those really crappy poppy rock songs that came out around senior year in high school. Maybe not BNL, but something along those lines. I’m probably gonna crash pretty soon here. Dead tired. Whoo.
